In October, I spent time in Utah where I visited a client in  Park City and was then part of a group of vendors and vacation property  managers working on creating a state VRMA group. The group is being formed to  work as collective when there are laws and ordinance proposals being discussed that  will impact vacation rental businesses. They now have lobbyists working with  them at the state level to identify and work with the group on proposals. It  was a good experience listening to the managers and we had partners there who  provided good suggestions. Thank you Navis, GoParakeet, BeyondPricing, KeyData, Point Central  and Explorie for your contributions.  My takeaway from the meetings was that community involvement by property managers can provide you with opportunities to promote vacation rentals as a value to the community. 

At the VRMA in Las Vegas, I met up with current partners and  had many potential partner meetings. Right now our technical focus is on finishing  the TripAdvisor/Flipkey, Homeaway updates and improving our partner APIs. If  you have questions about new or current partners, please contact me. If you have a vendor coming in and saying that they are integrated with Barefoot and you don't see a logo on our page, please call because there's the possibility that we are in preliminary discussions.

New partner: We just signed up with VayKGear and they are working with a beta client on the Outer Banks. They are a beach gear rental company with locations in the 30A Beaches, FL, Forgotten Coast, FL and the Outer Banks, NC. Once they are through the beta process, this will be a company that our clients in those locations will be able to integrate with for rentals.
